A few weeks ago I got a call from the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian telling me they were about to install the Women Warrior Belt on the main floor of the NMAI. We had been talking back and forth for a while now about when and where it would be installed and also about the display set up. It was just so surreal to come down to it really happening!

Valerie and I were hoping to attend just to see how these things happen and see something we created being put on permanent display and a Smithsonian Institution!

It all happened on short notice and we didn't' have time to make travel arrangements.

We do plan on making it out there maybe this coming Fall to see it.

If anyone out there every makes it to the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington DC be sure to stop in and check it out!

Here are a few photos of it in the case that was designed for it.

Thank you for following me and all your support!
